There will be a group advisement meeting on Wednesday, October 24th from 3:30 to 5:00 in 109 Education Bldg Everyone is expected to attend.

Students should take:

  • DHH 350–Students are eligible to register for this course only if they have completed:  DHH 303, RAL 220 and all ASL classes.
  • Two courses in your second major
  • Liberal Learning course, as needed, and/or a science class (SCI 104 is highly recommended but not required.)  Students who want to complete the Liberal Learning requirement in the fine/performing arts are encouraged to check the list of approved coursesCourses in literature do NOT meet this requirement.  Students should choose a course in art, music or theater.  A course in fine/performing arts should also help students meet the gender or global perspectives.  Math, biology, and psychology majors are strongly encouraged to use the fine/performing course as a way to fulfill the “global” requirement.

Please note that in order to complete the undergraduate degree in 4 years students need to take 2 or 3 courses in summer school or need to take 5 courses/semester for 2 or 3 semesters.  By College policy, a student must have a GPA of 3.3 or higher to take 5 courses in one semester.  Students can’t register themselves for 5 courses but rather need the assistance of an adviser.
