Qualify for dual certification in special education and P–3 or K–6 education, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years. Coursework and field placements are integrated seamlessly across the curriculum, ensuring you are well prepared to teach children with varying disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical disabilities.
Five-Year Deaf Education
Qualify to teach both students who are deaf or hard of hearing as well as typical learners in this five-year program. You earn both bachelor’s and master’s degrees and multiple teaching certifications, choosing a P–3 or K–6 program. Both programs offer courses in American Sign Language and extensive field placements.

Designed to meet the needs of working professionals, our offerings include graduate degree programs as well as post-baccalaureate and post-master’s certificate programs. Choose from options in special education, reading specialist, teaching of the blind/visually impaired, and others.
