David will be joining SELL as a literacy specialist. He is concluding his doctoral work at The Ohio State University, after several years as a teacher and administrator in Kenya. His expertise is in transcultural literacies that focus on merging and overlapping cultural and linguistic practices. He has engaged in collaborative teaching efforts with several different sites globally, including Alaska, India, and Arizona (with the Navajo Nation).
